Meet Julie Klasen
Yoga Therapist
Yoga is so much more than movement—it's a way of life that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being. For me, yoga has cultivated greater patience, physical strength and mobility, resilience, and a sense of peace. I’m grateful for how it supports me and enjoy sharing its benefits with others.

As a certified yoga therapist and trauma-informed registered yoga teacher, I’m dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces. I believe yoga can meet each person exactly where they are—no flexibility, experience, or expectations required.

I work with a wide range of individuals and have a special interest in sharing yoga tools with those navigating challenging or overwhelming times. This might include living with cancer, managing multiple appointments or caregiving responsibilities, making a big move, balancing work and family demands, or coping with grief or loss. In these moments, yoga can offer a sense of ease, grounding, and connection.

I offer one-on-one and small group sessions and teach in studios and community organizations. My background as an educator in the PreK–12, nonprofit, and corporate sectors shapes how I teach—with curiosity, care, and deep respect for each person’s unique experience.
